Aromatic Wine Tasting with Sardinian Pairings at Cantina Lilliu in Marmilla

Your experience at Cantina Lilliu, an artisanal winery in the heart of Marmilla, begins with a personal welcome from one of the owners, Roberta Porceddu or Pietro Lilliu. The winery itself is built according to traditional Sardinian architecture, setting the stage for your visit.

Roberta or Pietro will guide you through the production areas, explaining their philosophy of transforming grapes in harmony with nature's rhythms to preserve the wine's authentic character. You'll see the equipment used at each stage of the winemaking process before taking a seat in the air-conditioned tasting room.

Here, you will enjoy a guided tasting of two of the winery's most aromatic wines. You will sample Mendula, a dry Malvasia made from hand-harvested grapes, and Dunkas, a Moscato from grapes dried naturally on the vine. Both are produced through spontaneous fermentation. The wines are paired with almond-based Sardinian sweets and blue cheeses, chosen to complement their aromatic profiles.

For children, artisanal fruit juices are available, accompanied by a snack of bread, salami, and traditional sweets.
