The Winemaker's Selection: Guided Tour and Wine Tasting at Le Muraglie near Lake Garda
Here is what's in store for you
Your experience at Le Muraglie begins in Valeggio sul Mincio, near Lake Garda, where you'll be welcomed by the producer and the Vicentini family, who will accompany you on a walk through the vineyards, where you'll discover the estate's viticulture, the surrounding landscape, and the philosophy behind its wines.
The tour continues inside the winery and cellar. Here, you will see where the grapes are processed and learn about the production and aging techniques used for each label. The final part of your visit takes place in the tasting room. You will enjoy a guided tasting of three of Le Muraglie's most representative wines: the two whites, Lugana DOC and Custoza Superiore DOC, and the Sponsà IGT Rosso Verona, a blend of Corvina, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The tasting is accompanied by a platter of local products, including salami and cheeses like grana and asiago, selected to pair with the wines.
