Discover the Feminine Side to the Oltrepò Pavese at Lefiole Winery

We chose to do a tasting at LeFiole on a wintery but mild Sunday, and everything was truly very beautiful and well-cared for. It all started with a description of the territory with some interesting tidbits about various places, then we moved on to a tour of the vineyards (a bit shortened due to the season and rain) and finally the long-awaited part: the tasting. We were enchanted by the classic method and the pinot grigio, which we brought home with us. But I don't want to spoil too much, the advice is to go and try one of the experiences they offer, because the dedication and care they put in then result in excellent products. Truly a beautiful experience and a beautiful memory, thank you!

I had the pleasure of participating in a truly special wine tasting at a family-run winery, managed with love by two extraordinary sisters.
From the very first moment, you can feel the care and passion with which they carry on their work: every detail of the experience is designed to make the guest feel welcomed, relaxed, and deeply connected to the land.
The tasting took place outdoors, immersed in the vineyards, with a breathtaking view and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down.
Each glass told a story: from the fresh and mineral whites to the more structured reds, the wines were an authentic expression of the place and the artisanal work behind them.
The explanations were engaging and never boring, with family anecdotes and interesting facts about the production that made everything even more personal.
The added value? The strong and genuine bond between the two sisters, which is reflected in the harmony of the experience and the quality of the product.

The undisputed star of the tasting? The Pinot Nero Riserva “Amadí,” a special, elegant, and deep wine, dedicated to their parents – a tribute full of meaning that you can perceive from the very first sip.
It is bottled with the classic method, which enhances its refinement and complexity: red fruits, light spicy notes, and an impeccable structure that remains etched in your memory.

Le Fiole is an excellent winery born from the idea of 2 sisters who decided to carry on the family tradition. We had a pleasant tour of the vineyards and then tasted three wines with an excellent board of cured meats and cheeses. We really liked the wines (they were a rosé sparkling wine, a Pinot Grigio, and a Pinot Nero). We also tasted the Pinot Nero Riserva. All very good and we decided to buy all the types of wines produced. Elisa and her husband welcomed us with great enthusiasm and courtesy. Highly recommended. An experience we will repeat.

It was a very pleasant afternoon.
A beautiful walk through the rows of vines in the company of Elisa who explained a bit about the territory, how Le Fiole was born, it feels like being among friends.
The tasting was much appreciated with typical local products and their wine as an accompaniment.
We were a small group and this made everything seem very intimate, pleasant, private.
All in all, we also relaxed!
