The Winemaker’s Picnic in the Vineyards of Monferrato at Cascina Olivetta

This experience is designed for those who wish to slow down, enjoy the surrounding landscape, and taste the genuine flavors of local rural tradition. Before opening the picnic basket, guests are invited to take a relaxing walk through the vineyards that surround Cascina Olivetta, exploring the scenery, breathing in the atmosphere of the vines, and choosing the perfect place to stop and unwind.

Depending on the season and personal preference, the merenda can be enjoyed in different areas of the estate: among the vineyards surrounded by nature, on the panoramic terrace overlooking the rolling hills, in the garden or among the vines where small tables are placed in peaceful corners, or inside the tasting room if the weather is not favorable.

The Winemaker’s picnic basket includes a selection of traditional local products: a rustic sandwich with muletta salami, savory fritters with wild herbs, aged toma cheese, a jar of cugnà, our special fruit and grape must compote, a hard-boiled egg for an energy boost and Krumiri biscuits or paste di meliga for a sweet touch. A glass of wine is included.
