Vineyard Tour & Organic Wine Tasting at La Dama Vini in Valpolicella

La Dama Vini is located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, about a 20 minute drive (under 15 km) from Verona. Your experience begins here, with a welcome from  a WSET-qualified sommelier from the winery's team.

The tour starts with a walk through the surrounding organic vineyards. You will learn about the traditional viticulture of the area, including the native Pergola Veronese training system, and the principles of biodiversity and sustainability that guide the estate's certified organic farming. Next, you will descend into the barrel cellar to explore the art of aging in oak and understand how the wood influences the structure and aromas of the wines.

The visit concludes in the tasting room with a guided tasting of five of the estate's classic organic wines, led by your host. The tasting includes:
- Valpolicella Classico DOC Biologico (60% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 10% Corvinone, 5% Molinara), a light and fresh red with notes of cherry.
- Valpolicella Classico DOC Superiore Biologico (95% Corvina, 5% Rondinella), with more structure and complexity from aging.
- Valpolicella Ripasso Classico DOC Superiore Biologico (50% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 20% Corvinone, 5% Molinara), refermented on Amarone skins for a fuller, warmer profile.
- Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Biologico (73% Corvina, 17% Rondinella, 10% Corvinone), a powerful and dry red made from dried grapes.
- Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Biologico (85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 5% Molinara), the traditional sweet wine from dried grapes that closes the tasting.

The wines are paired with local specialties, including Monte Veronese DOP cheese at different stages of aging, traditional Sopressa Veneta and Coppa salami aged in Amarone, served with the estate's Amarone jelly. The Recioto is served with Torta Sbrisolona and dark chocolate.
