Customizable Wine Tasting with Appetizers and Tour at Tre Monti in Romagna
Here is what's in store for you
Your visit to Tre Monti, in the hills of Imola, begins with a welcome from the owners, David and Vittorio, or your host for the day, the AIS-certified sommelier Lorenzo.
Lorenzo will guide you through the estate, starting with the story of Tre Monti and its connection to the Romagna territory. Weather permitting, you'll walk through the vineyards to see the landscape that shapes the wines. The tour continues inside, moving through the production area and into the ageing cellars. You will also visit the room dedicated to Georgian amphorae, where Lorenzo will explain the specific production and ageing techniques the family uses.
The experience concludes in the tasting room for a guided, personalized session. You and your guide will select four or five wines from Tre Monti's collection of 21 labels, choosing the bottles that best match your interests. You can explore different expressions of native Romagna varieties like Albana with up to six interpretations available, and several styles of Sangiovese, or select from Trebbiano macerato, Cabernet-Merlot blends, and Sauvignon Blanc, as Lorenzo shares the story behind each label.
The tasting is paired with a light appetizer of local piadina and filled focaccia. For children or anyone not drinking alcohol, organic fruit juices are available.
