Gourmet Tour of Trentino: Wine, Olive Oil & Grappa between Lake Garda and Rovereto

Your day begins at Azienda Agricola Madonna delle Vittorie, set among vineyards and olive groves with a view over Lake Garda. Here, the estate's hospitality team will welcome you and guide you on a tour of the property, which concludes in the dedicated tasting room.

You'll taste three local wines: a Trento DOC sparkling, a white such as the native Nosiola, and a red like Rebo, a Trentino-native cross of Merlot and Teroldego. The tasting continues with two of the estate's extra virgin olive oils, which may include the Garda DOP, an unfiltered 'new' oil, or the organic variety, depending on the season. You'll learn about the production methods and the deep connection between the estate's agriculture and its territory.

Following the tasting, a three-course traditional lunch is served at the estate’s restaurant. The menu changes with the seasons, featuring dishes from the à la carte menu like carne salada from the estate's own farm, risotto finished with Trentodoc, or fiordilatte gelato with lemon-flavored Olì.

In the afternoon, you will make the 30-minute drive to Distilleria Marzadro in Rovereto. The distillery's team will lead you through the facility, from the traditional copper stills to the ageing cellars. The tour concludes with a guided tasting of grappas, starting with young varieties like Bivitigno, moving to distinctive aged ones like Anfora, and finishing with the iconic Diciotto Lune.
