Embark on a culinary adventure with this tour through Verona's historic streets!
We begin this food and wine tour at a delicatessen to try a selection of local cheeses and salami, accompanied by a vegetable pâté. As olives generously grow in the Garda area, we will stop by the local olive press store to learn about its making and taste a bruschetta. Next, for your sweet tooth, we will taste 3 iconic Italian chocolates and learn more about their making with recipes that are over 100 years old.
Verona is famous for its Valpolicella red wines and a variety of unique white wines such as Soave. We will not only taste them, but also discover the secrets of their production. As we stroll through Verona's UNESCO Historic Centre, local food and wine guides will share stories about culinary traditions and more. Our final stop will be at the shop of the first family to produce Pandoro, Verona's most famous dessert, since 1909. Alternatively, we can stop to taste Risino, a pastry made with rice grown in the southern plains, in the unusual shape of an arena. Ideal for couples, families with grown-up children and groups of friends (maximum 7 people, or ask for a private or group tour).
