Here is what's in store for you
For this experience, you will be welcomed at the Casale Vallechiesa winery in the heart of the Castelli Romani area, just a few kilometers from Rome, by Ms. Cristina, the owner, who will tell you the story of her family, which began producing wine in 1880 and has been doing so for 5 generations.
You will have the opportunity to walk through the vineyards, where the production cycle of the vine will be explained and the soil of volcanic origin, a fundamental element for the uniqueness of the winery's products, will be described.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the tufa cave located within the estate, where wines were once aged, and to admire a natural spring where pure water flows all year round, making Casale Vallechiesa's soils particularly fertile.
Inside the estate, there is also an ancient Roman road that you can see, formed by large and well-polished basalt stones typical of Roman time.
To conclude the experience, you will taste 3 types of wine from the winery's Premium line paired with typical local products.
