A splendid morning among the Verdicchio vines
The tasting at the Colleonorato winery was nothing short of fantastic. Two young, enthusiastic winemakers filled us with a sense of optimism for the future of wine in Italy. The expression of Verdicchio in the various styles the winery offers is very interesting, with excellent results, and the Rosso Piceno also shows good results in the Colleonorato blend. The focaccia, cheeses, and cured meats that accompanied the tasting were also excellent. A highly recommended visit.
