Wine Tour: The Castle of Tassarolo

Here is what's in store for you

In this comprehensive experience you will have the opportunity to visit the vineyards with the horses, the wine cellar with a tasting of the wines produced by the winery and parts of the Tassarolo Castle.
The visit will start from the village square of Tassarolo, in front of the castle ascent. We will visit the prisons, the chapel, the courtyard, the frescoed great hall, the mint where there is a press dating back to 1300. Then, each person in his or her own car, we will go to the winery 1.5 km away.
You will then be taken through the vineyards, where Biodynamic agriculture, the dynamization of preparations and the Biodynamic heap will be explained to you, and you will be introduced to the French Comtois horses that help work the garden, the wood and the vineyard.
In the cellar, you will learn about manual harvesting, biodynamic winemaking methods without sulphites, native yeasts, and ageing in French wooden barrels or terracotta amphorae. 
From the darkness of the cellar we will then move into the sunlight on the terrace overlooking the vineyards or inside the restored barn, depending on the season, for a tasting. 
You will have the opportunity to taste five red, white, sparkling and rosé wines.
