Wine & Nature: Farm Park & Winery Tour with Tasting at Ca' Rugate in Valpolicella

Just 30 minutes from Verona, the Ca' Rugate estate offers an experience that combines wine with the biodiversity of the surrounding landscape. Your visit is led by a member of the Tessari family's hospitality team.

The tour begins at the Ca' Rugate Farm Park in Monte Fiorentine, set within a natural vineyard amphitheater. Here, where the Tessari family's story began, you will explore a 4,000-square-meter park that features a natural bio-lake, heritage fruit trees, and the medicinal herbs used to produce the estate’s Amarone Vermouth. You will also see the farmyard animals that live on the property.

Next, you'll move to the winery for a guided visit of the production areas and the barrel cellar. The tour includes a stop at the estate's wine museum, a collection recognized for its cultural interest in the region. The experience concludes in the tasting room, where you will sample five wines that represent the territory. The tasting is accompanied by a platter of local artisanal products: Soppressa di Brenton, Crudo di Soave, Coppa cured in Amarone, and three ages of Monte Veronese cheese (Mezzano, aged, and blue).
