Located at the gateway to the Roero, overlooking the Langhe, in Castagnito, is Pqlin Winery, a family business with a 100-year tradition, since our grandfather Angelo, known as "Piculin," because the youngest of his brothers, began making wine for his family and later for friends, who appreciated the passion he put into tending the vineyards. The same passion that passed from my parents Eleuterio and Michelina, has been passed on to me Margherita, who will accompany you on a journey that will first let you discover how we produce and afterwards taste our wines; both in our cellar and in our vineyards. Pqlin where the Q, the protagonist of the logo, replaces the syllable /cu/, the beginning of a new day and a new winery. The history of the F.lli Massucco winery, rooted in the Roero area, dates back to the early 1900s when the family began cultivating vineyards that now produce some of Piedmont's most esteemed wines. Over 5 generations, the family has meticulously passed down traditions, balancing innovation with respect for the land. Located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the winery focuses on preserving the natural aromas and flavors of the region's grapes. Winemaking practices emphasize authenticity, using steel tanks to maintain purity, with select reds aged in cement tanks and French oak barrels. Massucco Winery is committed to sustainable viticulture, managing approximately 20 hectares of vineyards through manual techniques like Guyot training and green pruning. The winery's participation in "The Green Experience" ensures environmentally responsible practices, such as herbicide-free grass mowing, legume planting, and installing bird and insect nests to promote biodiversity. Beyond producing red and white wines, Massucco offers classic methods, grappa, chinatos, and vermouths, all embodying the rich heritage and unique terroir of the Roero area. The wines reflect a deep connection to the land, offering a genuine taste of Piedmont's traditions and innovations.

Cascina Goregn is a family-run winery nestled in the heart of Castagnito, a village located just a few kilometers from Alba, in the Roero region, to the left of the Tanaro River. The name "Goregn" holds a special significance in Piedmontese, meaning "the tough ones," a title given to our grandfather, born in 1898, and one that we proudly carry forward. Our deep connection to this land and its vines is evident in our meticulous care of the vineyard, where we ensure that only the best grapes are selected from the finest positions in the area, known as "al sorì." With a blend of tradition and modernization, our winery is undergoing gradual upgrades to adopt the latest technologies while preserving the exceptional quality and authenticity of our wines.
