Cantina Giuseppe Sedilesu
(Winery in Nuoro)

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €90.00
Cantina Giuseppe Sedilesu is a family-run winery founded by Giuseppe and Grazia, and today it is managed by their three children and their families. The winery was established 40 years ago with the purchase of their first hectare of vineyard in Mamoiada, Sardinia. Initially, the family produced and sold bulk wine to nearby villages. In 2000, when the children took over the business, they decided to bottle and label their Cannonau, curious to see if the same flavors and aromas they had grown up with would be appreciated by the broader wine market. The decision proved successful, and over the next decade, the family doubled its wine production and expanded their cellar facilities. Today, they are active members of the local wine community, participating in initiatives like the Mamoiada Winemakers Association (Mamojà) and the Consorzio di Tutela del DOC Cannonau di Sardegna, a cooperative aimed at protecting the DOC Cannonau brand. The family is also involved in developing wine tourism through projects like La Strada del Vino Cannonau, bringing greater attention to their heritage and the unique terroir of Sardinia.

Teularju
(Winery in Nuoro)

Provides 1 wine tasting and winery visit from €40.00
Teularju winery is located in Mamoiada, central Sardinia (Italy), run by Francesco Sedilesu, his three sons, and their families. After more than twenty years of experience in the world of wine, in 2017, with the planting of the vineyard in Teularju (8 hectares), the family decided to create a new company. In 2019 they bottled the first two red wines made by the two "Ghirada" (it means Cru in the Sardinian language) Ocruarana and Caragonare. All the wines are obtained from the Teularju vineyard and cultivated totally with Cannonau grapes in organic and by spontaneous fermentation. Our philosophy is based on producing wines with a strong territorial character, therefore we carefully cultivate the vineyard to have living soil and healthy plants. In the cellar, we try to work the wine gently, without the use of adjuvants (only low quantities of sulfites), to obtain authentic and elegant wines.

cantina MuggittuBoeli
(Winery in Nuoro)

I am Mattia Muggittu and I am 23 years old and since I was a child I have been fascinated by the world of viticulture and in 2018 I decided to enroll in the faculty of oenology in Oristano, to take the title of oenologist. My passion for enology and viticulture was basically transmitted to me by my father, despite coming from a family of great winemakers, as I was in Mamoiada, a small town in the center of Sardinia, with a strong vocation for viticulture.   My father has always produced a good wine, but one that didn't go beyond the local cask market. In 2021 I decided to bottle wine for the first time, trying to turn a simple hobby into my main job. Currently my company is made up of 5 hectares of Cannonau, divided into small plots of land, which allow me to produce a complex product that reflects the characteristics of the cannonau. I practice organic viticulture, with total respect for the terroir and spontaneous fermentations of win; the vineyards range from 20 years of age, to a vineyard that is more than 70 years old up to a vineyard that is just one year old. They are located at 750msl, with a crumbling granite ground.
