Tenute Olbios, nestled in the heart of Gallura, Sardinia, is a winery steeped in tradition and driven by a commitment to excellence. Under the passionate guidance of owner Daniela Pinna, the winery continues a family legacy of winemaking, meticulously overseeing every stage of production from grape harvest to bottling. Located in the renowned Vermentino di Gallura DOCG region, Tenute Olbios produces some of the finest Vermentino wines in the world, characterized by the unique terroir of granitic and sandy soils. The winery operates with a deep respect for environmental sustainability, implementing an integrated farming system that eschews herbicides and minimizes environmental impact. Certified by SQNPI and Green Care, the vineyards are dry-farmed, relying on the deep roots of the vines to extract minerals from the soil, which enrich the wine's flavor profile. The vineyards are maintained traditionally, with hand pruning and the use of biodegradable materials, while the grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small crates to ensure their quality is preserved. Tenute Olbios is also proudly certified Vegan, with no animal products used in any aspect of the winemaking process. This dedication to sustainable, ethical practices, coupled with a relentless pursuit of quality, ensures that each bottle from Tenute Olbios is a true reflection of Sardinia's rich winemaking heritage and the unique characteristics of the Gallura terroir. The wines produced here are not just beverages but a testament to the land, the tradition, and the innovative spirit of the winery.
