Cascina Teresina embodies a deep respect for nature and a passionate dedication to winemaking. The winery sources its grapes exclusively from its own vineyards in Valtellina, Teglio, and on the Lake Como in Veleso. In Valtellina, a centenary vineyard thrives, while on Lake Como, a new vineyard has recently become productive, utilizing innovative PIWI varieties that resist fungal diseases, allowing for balanced, organic vineyard management. Both locations practice "heroic" viticulture, with all work done by hand on steep, challenging terraces. Cascina Teresina produces a limited number of bottles each year, focusing on quality over quantity, ensuring the authenticity and excellence of each wine. Winemaking processes are kept to a minimum, allowing the natural characteristics of the grapes to shine. This artisanal approach reflects a commitment to sustainable practices and a deep connection to the land.

Figlio di un contadino Friborghese, Meinrad C.Perler classe 1937, giunge in Ticino nel 1960. Per diversi anni direttore di banca al Credit Suisse, nel 1981 decide di dedicarsi al vino ed acquista il "Tenimeno dell'Ör", 11 ettari di vigna in posizione collinare, meravigliosamente esposti al sole, di cui vi sono testimonianze in alcuni documenti del 1800. Nel 1994 Perler, vinifica in purezza il primo Merlot ed è subito medaglia d'oro. Nel 2002 con l'acquisto del "Tenimento la Prella" di Genestrerio, l'azienda raddoppia la sua capacità. Oggi Agriloro SA coltiva 22 vitigni ripartiti su una superficie di 22 ettari, collocandosi tra i maggiori proprietari terrieri del Canton Ticino. Meinrad C.Perler, fondatore dell’Agriloro SA ha sempre avuto un forte legame con l’agricoltura. Figlio di contadini, nato e cresciuto nel Canton Friburgo e trasferitosi all’età 25 anni in Ticino per svolgere tutt’altro tipo di professione, decide nel 1981 di acquisire il “Tenimento dell’Ör”, nel Comune di Arzo, tornando così alle sue origini. La tenuta è molto antica ed è già menzionata in documenti del Settecento, come uno dei vigneti più importanti del Mendrisiotto.

asa Vinicola Natale Verga was founded by Enrico Verga in 1895. For four generations it has been handed down from father to son with the same values of tradition and quality. At the moment the company is run by Natale Verga, in active cooperation with his father Giancarlo and his sisters Cristina and Laura. Enrico and Edoardo, the fifth generation of the Verga family, will soon take part in the company. After more than a centur y of activity, the Natale Verga Wine Company S.p.A. actually takes on a determinant role in the great distribution network across Italy with a vast range of products of its own brands and of private labels.The overseas market, expanding to more than 30 countries and representing 35% of the business turnover of the company,has constantly honored it with numerous awards.The new headquarters cover a total surface area of 35.000 sq.m.The winery has a storage capacity of 46.000 quintals and two bottling lines: one dedicated to glass bottles from 0,75 to 1,5 liters, with a production capacity of 25.000 bottles per hour, along with another one dedicated to glass bottles of 5 liters and to PET bottles from 3 to 5 liters. The ever growing business of these last years has been made possible thanks to the introduction of innovative and sophisticated technological systems that, though preserving the winemaking traditions, can satisfy a careful and exacting clientele, in full respect of the price-quality relationship.
