5 Wine, cheese and Silvano (Rosa)It was more than just a wine tasting experience: we had the pleasure of meeting Silvano who took his time not just in explaining the history and function of cultivating the famous Malvasia grape, but also in chatting with us about his beloved home, Sardegna. It was a real treat for us to be able to spend some time just talking as though we were among friends and not simply as tourists (speaking Italian of course doesn’t hurt :-).. Thank you, Silvano for also introducing us to your band, I Caos Calmo! You’re a wonderful singer (able to hit the notes on The Cranberries, Dire Straits and even Bowie, wow!), and we truly enjoyed your band’s performance in the open air on a lovely summer night in Bosa. Mille grazie!

5 A wonderful, funny and informative experience (Lesley)Silvano took us on a tour of the vineyards, educating us on what makes the particular wine distinct from other regions, he had the perfect balance of information and good humour, we really enjoyed our time together. He was able to answer any questions we had. Afterwards we went to complete our tasting session which was equally informative and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this authentic experience in Bosa.

5 Excellent experience (Noelia)We were greeted upon our arrival and directed inside were everything was already set up and were Carla was waiting for us and the rest of the group. She was very patient explaining everything in Italian and English. Very knowledgeable and friendly. After the tour we hadcthe wine tasting accompanied by some snacks. She gave us an explanation for every wine. We were not rushed at all and felt like a very pleasant experience. Will highly recommend it!

5 Intimate vineyard tour and wine tasting experience! (Jack)Silvano was a kind host who gave us a warm welcomd! He gave us a guided tour of the small vineyard and explained to us the variety of grapes that they grow and some history of the vineyard - he also let us sample some of the grapes! After he took us for some wine tasting which consisted of 3 wines, 1 vermintino and 2 malvasia with also some cheese and biscuits to go a long with it - they were all delicious! Overall it was a great experience for 1 hour and I’d highly recommend it and Silvano!

5 Sardinia tasting (Michael)We had an entertaining hour with our host Silvano. We were educated regarding the grapes grown at the vineyard. We tasted the vermentino and a couple of aged malvasias. These were accompanied with some cheese and biscuits. There were a few translation issues that were able to be negotiated.

5 Fay Visit (Shawn)Lilliu Vinyard visit was great! We have done a lot of wine tours in many parts of the world and this ranks up towards the top! What made it great was that the “family” is involved in this operation from top to bottom. One of the owners met us and took us around the wine making operation. They were in the process of picking grapes and let us stay right there and watch the first step of getting the grapes de-stemmed and into the tank. She then took us on a “jeep” tour in a vintage Fiat and showed us around the town, which is beautiful! We then went up to the Vinyard’s on land that had been in her husbands family for many years. We walked around the fields, tasted grapes and received a great education. We saw all their olive trees. Throughout you could see her love for the land, the winemaking process and the pride in what their family does! We then had a great wine tasting with food pairing and some of their olive oil and that was great also. If you want a true wine/Vinyard experience with a hardworking family this is it! Nothing fake or commercial about it, just the real experience. We would recommend this tour to anyone! Also, the drive there was a beautiful drive winding through a lot of beautiful small towns and villages. PS. We liked the wine so much we shipped some home to the US! Heidi & Shawn

2 Prijzig (Anne)Opgewacht door de gids, wat wel fijn was. We mochten kijken naar wat ranken, van afstand en er werd echt heel weinig informatie gegeven. Het is dat we voorkennis hadden, anders snapten we niks. Na wat 5 minuten leek, buiten, naar binnen voor 1 minuut uitleg over de vaten en toen mochten we proeven in een ongezellig hok. Kaas en bitterkoekjes er bij. Vertelde ook weinig over geproefde wijnen. Tempo lag hoog en na 45 min totaal stonden we al buiten. Heb 2 sterren gegeven, want de wijn was wel lekker.

5 A great way to discover special wines (Rosangela)We were warmly welcomed to the Oggianu family vineyard, a small operation but with several generations of winemakers behind it, whose stories were told to us by Mr. Silvano while he showed us the vines. The tasting, accompanied by local cheeses, was a journey through time, showing us how Malvasia di Bosa can evolve. An excellent finish with the grappa, also from Malvasia. Recommended experience.

5 Recommended for getting to know Sardinian wines (Jessica)The experience is great, the winery has a beautiful space, done with taste. We were attended by Alberto, who was very kind and knows a lot, it's a pleasure to discuss each tasted wine with him. To point out one drawback, we booked the tasting in Spanish and in the end it wasn't possible. They didn't notify us and luckily we were able to understand each other in English, but if you don't master the language, you have to confirm the possibility of Spanish with them. Despite this, I would repeat without a doubt.

5 Wonderful tasting (Giulia )An excellent tasting consisting of a glass of Vermentino and two of Malvasia di Bosa, accompanied by pecorino cheese and amaretti. Silvano was kind and professional, and after showing us the vineyard, he accompanied us into the cellar, answering every one of our questions with passion. A wonderful experience that we recommend!

5 Wine tasting (Pol)A very attentive, helpful, and nice gentleman. The guide was very interesting and she showed us her passion for the vineyard and the wine. The location of the place is beautiful, 300 meters from the sea, which can be seen from the estate. The tour is in Italian or English, we did it in Italian without knowing much but she made a great effort so that we would understand and be comfortable.
