The Tedeschi winery is a historic family-run estate located in the heart of Pedemonte, Valpolicella Classica. For centuries, we have been dedicated to producing wines that reflect the rich tradition and unique terroir of this renowned region. Over the years, we have continually modernized and expanded our facilities, with careful attention to every detail of the winemaking process. Our vinification area has been designed to optimize fermentation, with meticulous grape selection from various plots ensuring the best quality for each wine. In our aging cellar, wines mature in Slavonian oak barrels, ranging in capacity from 1,000 to 5,000 liters, allowing them to develop complexity before undergoing further refinement in the bottle.
We take pride in our innovative approach, especially in the careful drying of grapes for our Amarone and Recioto, achieved through our modern drying room where ambient humidity and ventilation are tightly controlled. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our certifications from Biodiversity Friend and Equalitas, and we continuously support research and experimentation to ensure the highest quality. With deep respect for the environment and the traditions of Valpolicella, Tedeschi wines have become synonymous with excellence across the globe.
At Tedeschi, our wines capture the essence of Valpolicella's diverse terroir and centuries-old winemaking tradition. We produce a variety of classic wines, including Valpolicella, Amarone, and Recioto, that showcase the depth and elegance of this unique region. Our focus is on cultivating traditional autochthonous grape varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, but we also incorporate lesser-known indigenous varietals like Oseleta, Dindarella, Negrara, Rossignola, and Forselina.
Valpolicella Classico Superiore – A refined expression of the Valpolicella terroir, this wine is fresh, vibrant, and balanced, offering red fruit flavors and a touch of spice.
Amarone della Valpolicella – Made from partially dried grapes, our Amarone is rich and full-bodied, with complex aromas of dried fruit, tobacco, and chocolate, alongside a velvety texture and long finish.
Recioto della Valpolicella – This sweet red wine is a traditional treasure of Valpolicella, with intense flavors of ripe cherries, raisins, and hints of spices, perfect for pairing with desserts or enjoyed on its own.
