Az. Agr. San Luciano
About the Winery
San Luciano is a family-run winery located in the rolling hills of Monte San Savino in Tuscany’s Val di Chiana. The winery’s origins trace back to 1972 when the Ziantoni family moved from Lazio to Tuscany, drawn by the fertile land and ideal conditions for grape cultivation. Over the years, the family has expanded the estate and embraced modern, sustainable practices, all while preserving the traditions that have defined their winemaking journey. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, local history, and exceptional wines rooted in Tuscany’s rich agricultural heritage.
About the Wines
San Luciano produces a diverse selection of Tuscan wines, focusing on native varieties like Sangiovese, complemented by international grapes. Their vineyards benefit from a south-southeast exposure, fertile clay soil, and a favorable microclimate that enhances the quality of the grapes. Key wines include the Toscana Rosso IGT and the Toscana Bianco IGT, known for their depth and complexity. The estate’s wines reflect a balance of tradition and innovation, offering a true expression of Tuscany’s terroir.

Wonderful
Tuscan wines, all-Italian hospitality
Amazing Experience!!
Plan transportation ahead as taxis are near impossible to get that far out of the city.
A wonderful experience
We were told the story of the family that runs the company, we were able to see the entire winemaking process up close, from the vineyards to the bottling... with some gems and advice to treasure.
The tasting consists of 4 samples of 2 white and 2 red wines and a platter with cured meats, cheeses and bread with their homemade oil.
Everything was truly good, it was nice to taste and be able to discover the difference between the various flavors and aromas... also very fun.
Eleonora is very knowledgeable and passionate... and very nice! Highly recommended.
Sensory immersion
We were welcomed very well right from the start, with a detailed explanation of the entire wine production chain, from harvesting to shipping. The "magical" room was very beautiful, where the smells of the wine and the wooden barrels stand out in the air.
The tasting at the end of the tour was delicious, with house-made cured meats and cheeses to accompany 4 different wines.
Everything was truly detailed, precise explanations. We discovered many new things about wines and how they are born, grow, and are finally consumed.
