Located in Haueneberstein, near the spa town of Baden-Baden, our family-run organic winery has been lovingly cultivated for over five generations. Since 2001, Iris and Volker Maier have been leading the estate with dedication, honoring a heritage rooted in deep passion for viticulture and a strong connection to Baden’s natural landscape.

Our commitment to organic and sustainable farming began over 20 years ago. Today, we proudly operate as a certified organic winery, using plant-based treatments, gentle manual work, and minimal mechanical intervention. For us, wine is not just a product—it’s an expression of joy, nature, and regional identity.

Visitors to Haueneberstein are welcomed into our charming farm shop, offering not only our wines but also beautiful floral arrangements and handcrafted decorations by Iris. In Bühlertal, we’ve created a cozy extension of our winery: a wine cellar and a vinothek where our passion can be experienced firsthand.

From the steep slopes of Engelsfels to the vineyards around Neuweierer Mauerberg, our 10 hectares of vines are cultivated with care all year round. The diversity of soils and elevations allows each wine to reflect its unique origin and terroir, making every bottle a true ambassador of Baden.

Our portfolio includes:

Classic varietals such as Riesling – crisp, structured, and unmistakably regional.

Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) – bold and expressive, reflecting the power of Baden’s red wine tradition.

PIWI varietals – around 30% of our vineyard is dedicated to fungus-resistant grape varieties, a testament to our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
