BODEGAS VILAPLANA

Bodegas Vilaplana is located in Caniles, Andalusia, a town in the northern part of the province of Granada.

We cultivate our vineyards at an altitude of between 940 and 1100 meters. We have a significant temperature difference between day and night, a continental climate, and soils poor in organic matter but rich in minerals and sediments, which define the character and quality of each grape.

Our winemaking process involves guiding the transformation of the grape must into wine, intervening as little as possible. We believe the most important work is done in the vineyard, year-round, carefully tending each vine to ensure it produces grapes of exceptional quality.

Bodegas Vilaplana's secret is simple: don't interfere with what nature already does well. We allow the native yeasts to initiate fermentation and let time do its work. Because when the origin is respected, the wine speaks for itself.
