Heredad Morán & López is a family winery rooted in generations of passion, founded by the current owners’ parents and grandparents and now led by siblings Miguel Ángel and Estefanía. Driven by a deep connection to their homeland, they returned to their origins to continue and expand the family legacy, bringing their wines to an international audience.

Located in the Bierzo region, the winery combines tradition with innovation, focusing on sustainable vineyard practices and minimal intervention winemaking. In recent years, the project has grown significantly, including the expansion of the winery in 2023 with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the highest quality standards. The estate is structured into dedicated areas for vinification, bottling, aging, and laboratory control, allowing full management of the production process. Heredad Morán & López represents a modern yet deeply rooted vision of winemaking, where respect for the vineyard and constant evolution go hand in hand.

The wines of Heredad Morán & López are a true expression of the Bierzo terroir, crafted with care to highlight varietal purity, balance, and character. The portfolio is centered on Mencía and Godello, the region’s flagship grapes.

Among the reds, Heredad 26 Mencía stands out for its freshness and vibrant red fruit notes, while Heredad 26 Mencía Roble and Rincón de Heredad Mencía Crianza add complexity through oak aging, offering structure, depth, and elegant spice nuances.

The white wines include Valdesalas Godello, fresh and aromatic with citrus and floral notes, and Heredad 26 Godello, aged on fine lees for added texture and roundness. The premium Heredad Altos de Talana, aged in oak and bottle, delivers a more complex profile with mineral depth, balsamic hints, and refined elegance.
