Cantina Valetti
About the Winery
Valetti Winery is a testament to the enduring spirit of family and tradition, nestled in the picturesque region of Bardolino, near the stunning Lake Garda. The story of Valetti began in the early 1900s when Angelo Valetti, with money borrowed from his brother who had emigrated to America, purchased a small piece of land in Bardolino. Here, he planted his first vineyard, laying the foundation for a legacy that would be carried forward by his son Luigi and now by his grandsons, Stefano, Luca, and Davide.
Today, the Valetti family continues to honor the traditions established by their grandfather while embracing modern techniques to produce wines that capture the essence of the Bardolino region. The winery, still family-run, is a harmonious blend of history and innovation, where every detail—from the cultivation of the vines to the crafting of the wines—reflects the family’s dedication to excellence. Visitors to Valetti Winery are welcomed not just to taste the wines but to experience the rich heritage and passion that have been passed down through generations.
The winery is beautifully situated, offering a serene landscape of rolling hills and the sparkling waters of Lake Garda. A visit to Valetti is more than a wine tasting; it’s an immersion into the heart of Bardolino, where the past and present come together in a celebration of viticulture and family tradition.
About the Wines
Valetti Winery’s portfolio is a reflection of the unique terroir of Bardolino, where the gentle slopes of the morainic hills and the temperate climate of Lake Garda create the perfect conditions for producing elegant and balanced wines. The modern winery itself is a striking architectural masterpiece, designed with a blend of stone, steel, and glass that symbolizes the fusion of tradition and innovation that defines Valetti wines.
The winery is particularly known for its Bardolino wines, which are crafted from a blend of local grape varieties. These wines are celebrated for their lightness, freshness, and vibrant fruit flavors, making them perfect for pairing with a wide range of dishes or enjoying on their own. The Valetti family also produces robust red wines that are aged in both steel and wood, allowing them to develop rich, complex flavors over time.
One of the highlights of the winery is the underground cellar, where the wines mature in ideal conditions. Above ground, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Garda and its surrounding hills from the expansive terrace, a perfect spot to savor a glass of Valetti wine while taking in the stunning landscape.
Every bottle of Valetti wine is a tribute to the land and the family’s dedication to winemaking. Whether it’s the refreshing Bardolino or the deep, full-bodied reds, each wine tells a story of tradition, passion, and a deep connection to the beautiful region of Bardolino.

Good tasting
When booking, I made a note regarding the food, but it was not passed on to the winery manager (so I was told).
Practically impeccable
Enjoyable
Friendly and helpful owners
Spectacular
Beautiful cellar and an excellent wine tasting.
Would do it again!!!
A beautiful experience
Red wine tasting and more
manages with care. We missed a tour of the vineyard.
The tasting was exhaustive, the wines tasted were excellent.
Wine Tasting
The tasting, however, was not well organized.
There were 3x2=6 people in total. 6 wines were tasted. The wines were overall sophisticated, but not above average.
During the tasting the phone rang twice, and other people came by. Then the tasting was interrupted!
Also, the side dishes (cheese, salami, breadsticks) could be described as sparse.
It can't be that for a total of 180 EUR in expenses, such "service" is offered!
The VALETTI winery needs to work on its priorities. Either you organize a wine tasting, or you sell something on the phone or at the counter. The tasting, which after all costs money, must then also be treated as a priority! Both at the same time doesn't work...
Friendly Owners
Wide selections of wine for testing.
The booking site could have been a little more accurate. It creates the impression of one must book each line of testing (red, white or rose) to be able to test the selected line, however, you can taste all of the three line by clicking one option per person only. I was charged double because of the misinformation and the owners also thought they were expecting 4 people while only 2 showed up.
Excellent experience
Modern and very beautiful location, with an interesting visit to the cellars in the underground rooms

Excellent tasting
It was a great time.
The wines are fantastic and the teaching and explanations very interesting.
We also toured the facility.
As a result, we ordered 24 bottles of different wines, which Mr. Valetti had sent to us in France and which we received a week later.
In conclusion, a great experience.
To do again.
Thanks again!
