Cantine Merinum is a winery born from a deep passion for the land and the art of winemaking, rooted in the enchanting region of Vieste, at the foot of the Umbra Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The story of our winery is intertwined with the memories of Cinzia Quitadamo, a young viticulturist who transformed her childhood experiences in her grandfather's vineyard into a lifelong dedication to creating exceptional wines. Cinzia's journey began with a simple yet profound memory of a hot summer afternoon in her grandfather's vineyard, where the sights, sounds, and scents of the land ignited her love for wine.

After completing her studies, Cinzia returned to her beloved Vieste and acquired a vineyard, where she brought her dream to life by founding Cantine Merinum. Here, we cultivate native vines such as Bombino Bianco, Nero di Troia, Malvasia Nera, and Sussumaniello, each of which tells the story of our origins and the rich heritage of Apulia. At Cantine Merinum, we are dedicated to crafting wines that not only reflect the unique terroir of our land but also evoke the timeless beauty of the region. Bombino Bianco: This indigenous white grape variety produces a wine that is fresh and vibrant, with crisp acidity and delicate floral notes. It’s a perfect reflection of the coastal breezes and sunny climate of Vieste.
