I Carpini
About the Winery
I Carpini is an organic winery located in Pozzol Groppo, in the Colli Tortonesi area of Piedmont. Founded in 1998, the estate follows a holistic agricultural philosophy that sees the vineyard as part of a balanced natural system, where biodiversity and soil vitality are essential to wine quality.
The vineyards lie at approximately 400 meters above sea level on clay and limestone soils, benefiting from significant diurnal temperature variation. These conditions are particularly suited to Timorasso, the winery’s flagship grape, as well as Barbera and other traditional varieties.
About the Wines
The wines are patiently nurtured — harvested at the right moment, naturally fermented with native yeasts and gently aged until they clearly express their origin. Environmentally conscious, the winery uses renewable energy, minimal sulphites and vegan practices throughout production. From expressive Timorasso and elegant Barbera to distinctive reds and sparkling wines, each bottle reflects a philosophy of slow, thoughtful winemaking and deep respect for the land.
