About Winery and Wines

The Château de la Croix Chabrières, located in Bollène on the sunny hillsides of the Vaucluse, traces its roots back to the 13th century. Acquired in 1988 by Patrick Daniel, a passionate winegrower, the estate now covers 48 hectares between Côtes-du-Rhône and Grignan-les-Adhémar. Each cuvée is crafted with care to express the richness of the terroir, combining tradition and character. Visitors can discover the château’s history, cellars, and wine storehouses through a warm and poetic guided tour, followed by a tasting beneath centuries-old plane trees. A place where heritage, passion, and conviviality come together around wine.

Our signature grape variety is Syrah, at the heart of our range of red wines. Power and complexity increase with the proportion of this grape: Terre Tricastine (15%, light and fruity), Sans Souci (30%), Alliance (50%), and Privilège (100%, aged in barrels), with the last two offering structure and depth thanks to barrel aging. Grenache and Cinsault bring color and fruity roundness, especially to our younger cuvées.
For whites, we offer three very distinct styles: Trois Cépages (Roussanne, Marsanne, Grenache blanc), dry and elegant, ideal with fish and shellfish; Fleur de Viognier, 100% Viognier, dry and fruity, perfect as an aperitif; and La Diva, 100% Viognier aged in new oak barrels, an exceptional wine with pronounced woody aromas, truly unique and unforgettable.
Finally, our rosé, with its bright color and fruity notes, is a perfect choice for any occasion, especially by the pool.
