About Winery and Wines
Founded in 1585, our historic estate is located in La Roche Vineuse, at the heart of the Mâconnais region of Southern Burgundy. Since 1924, the Greuzard family has passionately cultivated this land, crafting wines that express the diversity and richness of Burgundy’s terroirs.
Our philosophy is rooted in meticulous vineyard work, ensuring that only the healthiest grapes are harvested—the foundation of producing Grands Vins of exceptional quality. We embrace sustainable and nature-focused viticulture, respecting both the land and the people who live around it. By preserving traditional methods while embracing innovation, we continue to honor our centuries-old winemaking heritage while adapting to the evolving landscape of Burgundy viticulture.
With access to a wide variety of soils and terroirs, we are dedicated to crafting wines that authentically reflect their origins, offering a range of cuvées with distinct styles and personalities. Our estate produces around twenty cuvées, each with its own distinct identity, shaped by the unique terroirs of Southern Burgundy. With an emphasis on purity, balance, and elegance, our wines capture the essence of their appellations:
White Wines:
Saint-Véran – A refined and expressive Chardonnay with vibrant acidity.
Pouilly-Fuissé – A prestigious Mâconnais white, rich and complex with mineral finesse.
Mâcon La Roche Vineuse – A fresh, fruit-forward expression of Chardonnay.
Bourgogne Aligoté – A crisp and lively white wine showcasing Burgundy’s other great white grape.
Mâcon Milly-Lamartine & Mâcon Serrières – Elegant and terroir-driven Chardonnays.
Red Wines:
Bourgogne Pinot Noir – A delicate and structured red with red fruit and earthy notes.
Saint-Amour – A charming, floral Cru Beaujolais made from Gamay, full of finesse and vibrancy.
