Domaine de Favas is a passionate, family-run vineyard managed by two brothers in Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel, near Montpellier. Surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, and charming stone buildings, it’s a place where authenticity and nature meet.
The estate produces organic wines using regenerative farming methods, with long aging in barrels and amphorae to create wines of depth and character. During your visit, you’ll explore the cellar, meet the winemakers, and taste wines that truly express the terroir.
You’ll also meet the estate’s Kune-Kune pigs, who naturally graze among the vines to maintain the plant cover — a perfect example of harmony between nature and viticulture.

The wines of Domaine de Favas offer a distinctive interpretation of the AOP Languedoc, defined by their refined blends and expressive tasting profiles.
Each cuvée highlights the character of the region’s emblematic varieties — Grenache (white or red), carefully blended with Roussanne or Syrah — to create wines of balance, depth, and elegance.
Their uniqueness lies in the long aging process, which lasts between 18 and 30 months, using a combination of barrels, amphorae, and vats. This meticulous approach allows each wine to reach its full expression, blending tradition and innovation in every bottle.
