About Winery and Wines
Nestled at an altitude of 191 meters, just 25 km north of Toulouse, Domaine Saint Guilhem is one of the smallest vineyards in the southwest of France. With a history dating back to 1738, the estate offers stunning views of the Plain du Frontonnais from its location between the second and third terraces of the Tarn. The vineyard owes its name to Count Guillaume de Gellone, who was canonized in 1066 as Saint Guilhem. The domaine produces three red wines and one rosé, using the grape varieties Négrette, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah, reflecting the estate’s deep-rooted history and its commitment to crafting wines with character.
Domaine Saint Guilhem spans 7 hectares of vines, meadows, and woods, including rare and century-old species. The estate produces a rosé and three distinct red wines from Négrette, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah, reflecting both the rich history and unique terroir of this small but remarkable vineyard in the South-West of France.
