Famiglia Olivini

Winery in Lake Garda, Lugana, Valtenesi

About the Winery

At Famiglia Olivini, we are deeply committed to honoring the heritage and culture of our wines, while continuously striving to elevate the unique characteristics of each vineyard, vine, and even individual grape strains. Founded on a philosophy of meticulous care and respect for the land, our winery has embraced the potential of our grape varieties, vinifying them in purity and reinterpreting them with a modern approach. This dedication has become almost a guiding principle for us, shaping the way we craft our wines.

Our approach involves selecting the most appropriate vinification methods and carefully planning for each vine's needs. We continuously work towards perfecting our agronomic practices, focusing on the propagation of our own vegetative material to develop a distinct production style. This commitment to quality and innovation has led us to create distinctive wines, such as our Lugana Metodo Classico and Merlot raisin wine, which reflect both tradition and forward-thinking craftsmanship. Visitors to Famiglia Olivini can expect an immersive experience where the deep connection between land and wine is celebrated in every bottle.

About the Wines

The wines of Famiglia Olivini are a true reflection of the demanding yet rewarding terroir we work with—specifically, the "accursed" calcareous clay that requires intensive labor in the vineyard but yields extraordinary results. The mineral richness imparted by this soil is especially evident in our Lugana wines, which are known for their distinctive character and elegance.

Lugana DOC: Our Lugana wines capture the essence of the terroir, with mineral-driven flavors and a balance of freshness and complexity that make them stand out. These wines are known for their longevity and the ability to age gracefully, offering layers of flavor that evolve over time.

Notte a San Martino: This wine is a powerful and elegant expression of our dedication to quality. It embodies the richness of the land, with deep, concentrated flavors that are both intense and refined.

Condolcezza: A dessert wine that showcases the lush, sweet side of our production. It is rich and opulent, with a harmonious balance of sweetness and acidity that makes it a perfect companion to fine desserts.

Lugana Metodo Classico: A sparkling wine that highlights the freshness and vivacity of the Lugana grape. Crafted using the traditional method, it offers a fine mousse and a crisp, refreshing palate, ideal for celebrations and special occasions.

Each wine from Famiglia Olivini is a testament to the labor and love we pour into our vineyards. Our mission is not only to produce exceptional wines but also to share the gifts of our land with those who appreciate the art of fine winemaking.

Famiglia Olivini Tasting
Excellent location, excellent explanation of the cellars, the tasting with the accompaniment of cured meats and cheeses was very nice.
Perhaps I would have done a mixed tasting of white, rosé, red and prosecco.

Tour & Tasting Experience - Fantastic!
We took the €70 option but unfortunately the weather was great for any outdoor tour.
However, the rest of the experience was fantastic, the wines are beautiful we tasted 9 of them and a little Grappo to complete the tasting. The meats & cheese were lovely and nicely enhanced the experience. The lady who hosted us was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to about the winery.
The tour indoor tour was informative and interesting although didn’t see all of the processes mentioned in the advert.
Overall, we loved it
Make sure you get a taxi there!

Lovely wine tasting experience
Simone (who brought us around) was very patient and friendly, who so kindly let us try so many different kinds of wines. The visit to the winery was also eye-opening, and was v interesting! Would recommend! There was a public bus nearby but will have to walk approximately 15min (1.5km walk) to the winery.

Wonderful place, kind and friendly staff, unique and premium wines.
Wonderful place, kind and friendly staff, unique and premium wines.
Real family story about the moon - it was really intesresting about the loyality and frienship..
The visit was a bit short for the money (we paid 280 EUR for 4 people), and as we have readed it was a part of the package to visit the land and the factory but we have visit only in the factory. It would also have been nice if we could have walked a little between the rows of grapes and learned more about grape cultivation. But the really positive thing was to have a chiose to taste 8 type of wines ( In the package was 6).
No suggestion.

Set the senses in motion
The experience was excellent, the setting elegant and pleasant, the welcome attentive, the attention to detail was evident.
I would only suggest offering a bit more to eat, because you risk not being able to drive the car afterwards!
They were very willing to bring us more cured meats but it was too little for the wine we drank!
Indicate some nearby places to eat!

Visit to Olivino Winery with Tasting
Upon arrival they welcomed us very kindly, offering us a coffee while we waited for the other people in the group to arrive, 8 of us in total.
The setting is very welcoming and spacious. The winery tour began in the initial processing and fermentation area, passing through the barrel room, very evocative with classical music, all the way to the bottling line.
The tasting was very pleasant, sampling still and classic method wines. Five whites, two rosés, two reds, and a sweet wine. A pleasant experience discovering Brescian producers with a passion for genuine, quality wine.
