About Winery and Wines
Our story is deeply rooted in the Tuscan tradition, dating back to 1903 when our winery was first established in the picturesque countryside of Quarrata, a charming town in the province of Pistoia. The landscape is quintessential Tuscany, with rolling green hills, cypress-lined roads, and centuries-old villas, many of which date back to the Medici era. This rich heritage, combined with the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, who hails from the surrounding region, adds to the unique allure of our location.
Founded by Bartolomeo Baldi, great-uncle of the current owners, the winery has been in the Betti family for generations. In 2003, brothers Guido and Gherardo Betti made the bold decision to transform their family estate into a modern winery, focusing entirely on viticulture. Today, the winery is not only a place to enjoy excellent wines but also a destination for those who appreciate the artistic and historical beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
At our winery, we pride ourselves on producing wines that embody the rich tradition of Tuscan winemaking. With a modern approach rooted in over a century of history, we focus on creating wines that reflect the beauty and quality of our unique terroir in Quarrata. Under the leadership of Gherardo Betti, who oversees the enological and agronomical aspects, our wines are crafted with passion and precision.
From Sangiovese to Trebbiano, we produce a range of red and white wines that capture the essence of Tuscany. Visitors to our winery can enjoy not only a sensory wine experience but also explore the stunning architectural beauty of our estate, complemented by the artistic works displayed throughout our park.
