A lovely brother and sister team run the vineyard and the family vibe made it very special. It was a rainy day and we were staying nearby so they arranged a pick up for a small fee which was great. The tour was so interesting and the lady was lovely and answered all of our questions. The wine was delicious, as was the olive oil. We loved the wine so much we bought some and drank it while there. We bought some olive oil to take home with us and it is the best I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be buying some online when we run out!

5 Breathtaking view - Full tasting experience (IRINI)The visit to Capezzana Winery was a true experience among the amazing things we did in a Tuscany this June. We tasted some really memorable wines, mostly red ones, and had the opportunity to enjoy them along with cold cuts while admiring the most beautiful view.

5 A surreal and fantastic tour and tasting experience (Christine)Roselle, the owner was very gracious and the story telling about the history of the place from the owner’s perspective which was mimirising, It transformed us back to the old times! It was surreal! It is an organic vineyard, so everything they do is almost manual. The place is clean and has a very family oriented feel. We feel like stepping into a family affair and being well treated as guests. The tasting room has the feel of someone’s kitchen, very clean, well presented and has a rustic feel (old/traditional) - we love it!

3 Interesting but fell short of expectations (Anthony)Small local winery with an interesting selection of wines including some made with innovative techniques. For example, a merlot aged in Roman style clay pots. However, they didn’t have the staff to deal with the visit. There was only one young lady covering everything including a steady stream of local customers (which is of course is a good sign). However, the knock on effect was that she was unable to devote that much time to our wine tour/tasting. Hence it fell well short of expectations.

5 Intimate cooking class (Akua)My friends and I (bachelorette trip) had such an amazing time! We felt that the cooking class was very intimate (which was perfect) and very fun! The chefs were very nice and explained every detailed of the meals. The entire staff was amazing , from the wine service, to lunch , to the wine tour, everything was perfect. I would recommend the cooking class! A family member of the vineyard even ate lunch with us which was truly special .

5 Unexpected, unique, great quality products (Luca)The location is completely surrounded by olive trees and vines, obviously, but it’s modern and different from most similar places in the area and that is enough to make it unique and worth visiting. Cristiano, the guy who showed us around and son of the owner, was able to explain the processes behind wine and oil making in a way that is understandable and fun even for non-experts, with lots of fun facts. Because of the quantities and ways the produce oils they have an oil cellar too, and they are proud of it! The tasting is well explained and it is needed, especially with oil as it isn’t as common as wine tasting. Wines are delicious - when you smell and taste you know you are in Tuscany! The area used for the tasting was outside: it’s peaceful and has a spectacular view - they also have an inside tasting room which is worth seeing too!

4 Warm & Friendly Family (Dawn)I scheduled a wine tour for my husband & I while in Pistoia. The scheduling was very simple. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owners of the farm ( husband & wife). They spoke very little English but they were the warmest and kindest people. A few mins. after, their adult daughter ( with her own little daughter of 3 yrs) & son joined ( just as friendly). Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and we did not get a tour of the vineyard and hich we would have loved as it is a BEAUTIFUL farm! Momma Marini knew the most english and she showed us where the wine was stored & bottled as well as the process of the olive oil making. Shortly after, we were seated at a small table and were introduced to their white wine (light & medium fruitiness).. We also had the red reserve ( nice) along with some salumi, cheese & olives as well as their owned wine jelly ( my husband’s favorite!). We had their lemon infused olive oil( (spring in a bottle!) with bread. We finished with some vin santo and their own biscotti - delicioso!! Although there was a language barrier, we had a pleasant experience and walked away with some delicious wine, olive oil and goodies to savor.

5 Inspiring wine experience (Rob)We visited Danielle 1 on sunday the 27th of August. First we were given a tour and explanation of the wine making process which was very interesting. It was not hyper modern industrial process but was characterised as nice craftmanship. The winetasting was excellent. Good explanation and beautiful wines. We enjoyed our visit very much and can definitely recommend it. Of course we did not leave before buying some bottles.

5 Visit to Fattoria di Bacchereto (Emiliano)A farm immersed in nature, among vineyards and olive groves. A delightful welcome from the lady, owner of the entire production, both wine and olive oil. Our visit was focused mainly on the winemaking part and it was truly very interesting, as the lady also elaborated on topics related to vinification that are not usually covered during classic tastings. Wines of excellent quality, the vin santo truly sublime. Obviously highly recommended.

5 As good as their wine! (Maximilian)9 friends and I booked a wine tasting with Francesco and it was lovely! Even though we had slight communication difficulties with the owner at the beginning (language barrier), it soon became a very lovely atmosphere and we were shown the whole vineyards and we understood everything essential that we wanted to know. The wine tasting itself was super professional and lovely, I would definitely book it again!
