Location moderna di gusto, ottimo assortimento di vini dal Friulano al Refosco con incursioni nel Metodo Classico. Non siamo esperti di vino ma questa è stata un esperienza di convivialita’e gusto. Ottimo il tagliere di accompagnamento con salumi e formaggio del territorio. Menzione speciale a Ilda, che ci ha guidato nella degustazione con professionalità e freschezza.

L' esperienza è stata ottima. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, la persona che ci ha seguito è stata molto brava e ha saputo rendere il tutto interessante. Degustazione molto buona.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo nella struttura che appare curata, accogliente e situata in un contesto molto bello. Un particolare ringraziamento all’a ragazza addetta alla reception ed alla degustazione Ilda che ci ha accolto e proposto la degustazione degli squisiti vini con professionalità ma anche con calore e simpatia facendoci sentire coccolati ed a casa. Grazie! Esperienza da consigliare.

L'esperienza vissuta presso l'agriturismo Fossa Mala è stata superlativa. Ilda è stata di una gentilezza, disponibilità uniche. La sua ospitalità, il tempismo nel servirci i vini, ( abbiamo usufruito dell'assaggio di 5 vini di cui 2 li abbiamo comprati), sono stati perfetti. La struttura nel suo complesso è a dir poco splendida, le camere nuove, ben curate, con la veranda che si affaccia sui vigneti, un mondo di relax totale. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante e anche qui, la gentilezza, professionalità, qualità del cibo davvero impagabili.
Una colazione ricca di ogni buona cosa e sempre rifornito. Infine, anche il nostro check out è stato svolto da una signora gentile, premurosa che ha completato quest'esperienza perfetta!!! Grazie davvero.

Io e mio marito abbiamo prenotato il pacchetto degustazione di 5 calici e devo dire che è stata una bellissima esperienza , personale preparatissimo , ci hanno fatto vedere la tenuta e poi proseguito con la degustazione , assolutamente da ripetere.

La qualità dei vini proposti era ottima, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio e ogni tipologia di vino è stata introdotta con cura stimolando il nostro interesse da subito.
Location impeccabile, clima e ambiente molto accoglienti.
Come prima esperienza è stata ottima, sicuramente da rifare e da consigliare!

Fossa mala è davvero un incantevole posto. Il ristorante è squisito, le stanze pulite e complete, la visita in cantina e la degustazione piacevoli ed interessanti. Abbiamo trascorso un bellissimo weekend, rilassante e super coccolati. Consiglierei.

Great wine in a romantic location.

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon that extended into a lovely evening. During the tasting we were served three white wines and two red. Including their amazing, award winner; Refossa.

The guided tour of the winery was informative and fun. We had plenty of time to walk around the premises and saw the horses, deer and peacocks.

Our guide; Ilda, really made the experience special. The time flew by, as Ilda served delicious wine and authentic conversation.

Highly recommended, especially for people staying in Venice as you can reach it within an hour by car.
The restaurant on site were able to seat us at short notice despite many hotel guests and larger parties. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious.

Villa Fossa Mala, formerly known as Villa Bassi della Meduna, is a historic estate that embodies the elegance and charm of the Veneto-Friuli countryside. The villa's origins date back to the 16th and 17th centuries, and its architecture reflects the traditional enclosed courtyard style that became a hallmark of the aristocratic villas in the region around 1600. The estate is graced by a centuries-old magnolia tree, a symbol of the villa's enduring legacy. Visitors to Fossa Mala can explore the remnants of its rural past, including a drinking fountain, cobblestone paving near the old stables, and the large arches on the first floor, once used as a hayloft. The Fossa Mala vineyard, densely planted and situated on low-lying land, is a model of modern viticulture rooted in tradition. With a planting density of 7,850 vines per hectare, the vineyard benefits from carefully selected rootstock, chosen for its compatibility with both native and international grape varieties. Through clonal and massal selection, these vines have been cultivated to produce high-quality grapes that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard's first 30 hectares, planted in the spring of 2003 in front of the villa, were later expanded by an additional seven hectares in 2008. The meticulous care given to the vineyard is evident in the exceptional wines produced at Fossa Mala, which range from classic Friulian varieties to innovative blends that capture the essence of the Veneto-Friuli region. Each bottle from Fossa Mala tells the story of a vineyard that honors its historical roots while embracing the future of winemaking.
