Il Poggio di Gavi is a family-run wine resort nestled in the enchanting hills of Piedmont, close to the Ligurian coast. Managed by me, my sister Alessandra, my daughter Giorgia, and my husband Angelo, our work is driven by passion and teamwork in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We strive to create a home-like environment for our guests, sharing the beauty and charm of our land. Our resort and vineyards focus on producing Gavi wines, celebrating the region’s rich winemaking heritage.

With Gavi, it is easy to describe the identity of the area we live in and with my Gavi, it is even easier, because it speaks for me. It explains the soil, draws the vines, describes the ripe grapes, expresses all its hostility towards chemicals and tells stories of real wellbeing. And I just let it do its own thing and speak for itself…

At Il Poggio di Gavi, our production centers around the native Cortese grape, from which we craft a selection of still and sparkling Gavi wines. We take pride in offering four distinct still Gavi wines, each reflecting the unique characteristics of our terroir. Our sparkling wines, also made from the Cortese grape, add a refreshing touch to our portfolio, highlighting the versatility and elegance of this celebrated varietal.
