Bella esperienza peccato per la pioggia

Dato il maltempo l'esperienza inizialmente prevista per le 11:00 è stata posticipata alle 12:00, in quanto non era possibile fare il giro in vigna (non è stato offerto alcun rimborso od omaggio per "scusarsi" anche se non era evidentemente colpa loro). L'attività in sala è stata piacevole e il cibo del pic-nic abbondante e delizioso. Sono rimasto un pò perplesso dalla gestione delle persone presenti: io avevo prenotato l'esperienza pic-nic deluxe ma in sala erano presenti anche persone che avevano scelto un pacchetto di degustazione più semplice, dato che a un certo punto a noi hanno portato la porchetta di Costano e ad altri no. Al termine del pic-nic ho fatto presente che a noi spettava una bottiglia di vino gratis che ci è stata portata dopo le iniziali titubanze del personale di sala. Non ho dunque ben capito se si fossero o meno ricordati che le persone presenti avevano pagato quote differenti per essere lì. Per il resto è stato tutto piacevole.
Creare percorsi (e orari) differenziati per chi ha pagato il pic-nic deluxe e chi ha scelto atri pacchetti.

Esperienza super consigliata! Ottima accoglienza, degustazione generosa,.composta da 5 vini, tagliere di salumi e.formaggi, focaccia e bruschette con loro olio. Disponibile pane senza glutine.

Beautiful tastingroom

We met the very knowledgeable guide to our tasting in their beautiful tasting room. The wines were interesting, and our guide made us feel the land and the labor in the wines. The food was really good and tasty. The view uphill to Assisi was stunning as you moved only a few steps from the tasting room.
Everything was very clean, and the place is easily reached by car, only a few minutes downhill from Assisi..
We really recommend this place if you’re in to tasting wines that are more than average.

Un’ esperienza autentica e indimenticabile tra i vigneti di Assisi

La nostra esperienza presso Saio Assisi è stata semplicemente meravigliosa. Agnese, una dei proprietari, ci ha accolto con gentilezza e professionalità, guidandoci in una degustazione coinvolgente e ricca di spiegazioni sui vini e sulla storia dell’azienda. Ogni calice raccontava davvero una parte del territorio: i profumi e i sapori descritti da Agnese si ritrovavano con chiarezza in ogni assaggio.
La passeggiata tra i vigneti è stata suggestiva e rilassante, un’occasione per apprezzare la natura e il grande lavoro che c’è dietro ogni bottiglia. A coronare il tutto, il picnic è stato abbondante e delizioso, con cibi perfettamente abbinati al vino scelto dopo la degustazione.
L’atmosfera, la vista spettacolare su Assisi e l’autenticità di questa realtà familiare hanno reso la giornata indimenticabile. Un’esperienza che consigliamo a chiunque ami il buon vino e voglia vivere un momento di vera passione e cura per i dettagli.


Continuate così: la formula degustazione + passeggiata + picnic è perfetta. Eventualmente potrebbe essere bello proporre anche una piccola visita in cantina per completare il percorso

Die Einführung mit der Auswahl das Picknick begleitenden Weine war etwas hektisch, da im Weingut viel Betrieb war und nur eine Person alles stemmen musste, Das Picknick selbst war hervorragend: mit tollem Panoramablick auf Assisi und die Qualität und Menge der Speisen und auch des Weins waren sehr, sehr gut. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und es hat alles prima geklappt.

Freundlicher Empfang durch die sehr nette und kompetente Gastgeberin, Verkostung von 5 Weinen des Weinguts mit ausführlichen Erklärungen sowie zusätzlichen Informationsmöglichkeiten über QR-Codes, Die bereitgestellte Notizmöglichkeit hat die Auswahl strukturiert und erleichtert.
Leider hat es ausgerechnet an diesem Abend geregnet, so dass die Wanderung „ins Wasser fiel“. Das leckere Picknick fand auf der überdachten Veranda zwischen den Weinreben mit einem super Blick auf die angestrahlte Basilika San Francesco und die Stadt Assisi statt.
Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis!

Die eigentliche Weinprobe und Auswahl des Weines für das Picknick hätte aus unserer Sicht etwas verkürzt werden können.

The wines of SAIO reflect the distinctive terroir of Assisi, where the pink and white stones of Mount Subasio create pebbly, permeable soils ideal for producing high-quality wines. Our vineyard benefits from the cool Tramontana winds that blow at night, ensuring a significant temperature variation that enhances the aromatic qualities of our grapes. The orientation of the vineyard rows is carefully managed to ensure optimal sun exposure, while meticulous hand-trimming of the vines and leaves helps to concentrate the flavors in the fruit.

Harvesting is done with precision, and the grapes are brought to the cellar within three hours of picking for a gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the natural aromas, while aging in oak barrels and bottles is closely monitored to bring out the unique characteristics of each vintage.
