MIGLIOSI VITICOLTORI
(Winery in Assisi)

Migliosi is a family winery located in Assisi-Umbria, the green hearth of Italy. They have about 12 hectares of vineyards, most of which lay down the Saint Francis monastery.  The cellar was built in the valley of Subasio’s mountain, with a spectacular view on the town of Assisi.  The family passion and job of winemakers were started by the great-grandmother of the founder Corrado, who had a small vineyard which now is the oldest part of the propriety and from which they produce Assisi D.O.C wines. All the grapes are organic or in organic conversion, in order to valorize the environment in the respect of nature. Now the family tradition is carried on by the young daughter of Corrado, named Costanza, who bases the philosophy of the winery on a low intervention in the vineyard and in the process of winemaking in order to enhance the terroir of the land.
