4 Beautiful tastingroom (Målfrid)We met the very knowledgeable guide to our tasting in their beautiful tasting room. The wines were interesting, and our guide made us feel the land and the labor in the wines. The food was really good and tasty. The view uphill to Assisi was stunning as you moved only a few steps from the tasting room. Everything was very clean, and the place is easily reached by car, only a few minutes downhill from Assisi.. We really recommend this place if you’re in to tasting wines that are more than average.

5 The Perfect Wine-Tasting Experience (Laurelin)The tour was detailed and interesting, catering to the novice and experienced wine taster. The vineyard's family values were really highlighted throughout the tour, giving a clear portrait of the character of the winemakers--what a wonderful addition to the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, answering every question in detail. She was clearly experienced and education in the entire process and expertly guided our group with an accessible, down-to-earth description of everything. Once we arrived at the tasting room, the service and attention to detail was excellent. Our tour guide and the other employees tended to our group with great care, assuring that we had all we needed. The food paired with the wine was delicious! Every item was intentionally chosen to showcase the wines, and our tour guide explained all of this to us clearly. At the end of the tasting, we were given the opportunity to buy some wine (and other products), but this was more of an invitation, not an expectation. Overall, this was the most enjoyable wine-tasting experience I've had. I highly recommend this winery and tour!

4 Fun experience (Sandra)We did the picnic in the vineyard and had a wonderful time. Gorgeous winery, and we were able to walk through the rows of vines and see them up close. The lady that handled the tasting did so in perfect English for us while also handling her Italian customers. She was fabulous.

5 Great wine tasting (Anya)We booked this wine tasting quite last minute and super glad that we did. We had a great tour around the cellars and our guide spoke amazing English. We learnt lots and was really interesting to hear about the making of the wine. The second part of the tour which included tasting 5 different wines and trying local delicacies to match. Both the wine and food was beautiful, we were even seated overlooking the vineyards and mountains. We were very well looked after and would recommend to anyone.

5 Great tour and amazing tasting (Roman)We made a tour and learned quite some interesting new things. It has been my 9th visit to a wineyard and actually the best. It was so nice to be taken care by the owners (both generations) and the quality of wine was great. The view and the beauty of the tasting property was amazing. Authentic and just beautiful.

2 Vineyard aperitivo on August 6, 2026 (Mauro)Good morning, with my wife and daughter we attended the "vineyard aperitif" on August 6, 2026, but, to our great surprise and disappointment, the place where the aperitif took place was not in the vineyard but in a room at your Estate. Taking the walk in the vineyard afterwards, we were able to see that you do have the space for a vineyard aperitif and you use it for other "offerings" (I presume a vineyard dinner). It is a pity not to allocate that same space to the "vineyard aperitif"!!! Mauro Pillepich

3 Nice experience, shame about the rain (Davide Enea)Due to the bad weather, the experience initially scheduled for 11:00 AM was postponed to 12:00 PM, as it was not possible to do the vineyard tour (no refund or complimentary gift was offered to "apologize" even though it was obviously not their fault). The indoor activity was pleasant and the picnic food was abundant and delicious. I was a bit perplexed by the management of the people present: I had booked the deluxe picnic experience but there were also people in the room who had chosen a simpler tasting package, given that at a certain point they brought us the Costano porchetta and not to others. At the end of the picnic, I pointed out that we were entitled to a free bottle of wine, which was brought to us after some initial hesitation from the staff. So I didn't quite understand if they had remembered or not that the people present had paid different fees to be there. Otherwise, everything was pleasant.

Agnese, one of the owners, welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, guiding us through an engaging tasting rich with explanations about the wines and the history of the winery. Every glass truly told a part of the territory's story: the aromas and flavors described by Agnese were clearly found in every sip. The walk through the vineyards was evocative and relaxing, an opportunity to appreciate nature and the great work that goes into every bottle. To top it all off, the picnic was abundant and delicious, with foods perfectly paired with the wine chosen after the tasting. The atmosphere, the spectacular view of Assisi, and the authenticity of this family-run business made the day unforgettable. An experience we recommend to anyone who loves good wine and wants to experience a moment of true passion and attention to detail.

4 Wine Picnic at the Saio Assisi Winery (Erich)The introduction with the selection of the wines accompanying the picnic was a bit hectic, as the winery was very busy and only one person had to manage everything. The picnic itself was excellent: with a great panoramic view of Assisi and the quality and quantity of the food and also of the wine were very, very good. The service was super friendly and everything worked out great.

5 Wine picnic with a view of Assisi (Ursula)Friendly welcome by the very nice and competent hostess, tasting of 5 wines from the winery with detailed explanations as well as additional information options via QR codes. The provided option for taking notes structured and facilitated the selection. Unfortunately, it rained on this evening of all evenings, so the hike "fell through". The delicious picnic took place on the covered veranda among the grapevines with a super view of the illuminated Basilica of San Francesco and the city of Assisi. Many thanks for this great experience!

Very good local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by excellent wines explained very well, the walk is the icing on the cake which concludes with a wonderful view of Assisi (especially at sunset). A special mention for the owner's father who, seeing us walking in the vineyard, stopped us for a chat and offered to take a souvenir photo for us. Highly recommended
