TORLEANZI - Masseria & Vigneti

Winery in Salento

About the Winery

Torleanzi embodies the passion for a unique territory, celebrating the rich culture of native Salento vines and a winemaking tradition passed down from father to son. Over two millennia ago, poets like Horace, Pliny, and Martial praised the harmonious and structured flavors of Salento wines. The landscape is dominated by the majestic 15th-century Torre Leanzi, which has stood as a guardian over the vineyards for centuries, inspiring the name "Torleanzi."

At the heart of the estate are grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Susumaniello, cultivated using ancient methods that honor the historical winemaking heritage of Salento. Every step of the production process, from harvest to bottle, is meticulously overseen by experts, ensuring that the art of winemaking is expressed with excellence in every bottle.

Great experience, we recommend it to everyone!
It was a great experience. The place is historic, wonderful and peaceful. The staff was very kind, the owner is very knowledgeable, and the tour of the masseria was interesting and informative. We tasted 4 wines, they were all excellent! We were particularly impressed by the white Verdefiam, and the Primitivo di Manduria, in fact we bought a few bottles to take home. The tasting also included a food pairing - local cured meats and cheeses, bread, taralli, olives. They prepared the lactose-free option for us upon request. A highly recommended experience!

Spectacular wine tour and tasting!
Just a short cab ride from the port, this winery is well worth the visit. We had a personal tour from the owner as well as an intimate wine tasting with lots of local small bites! The truffle also and three hour old cheese were so delicious. Extremely good wines! Shipped home several bottles. The grounds also feature suite rentals. Stunning grounds, too!
