About Winery and Wines
Vignoble Pestoury is a family-run estate located just outside Bordeaux, in the charming village of Yvrac.
Passed down through five generations, the vineyard is a reflection of passion, tradition, and dedication. Since 2020, the estate has been undergoing a conversion to organic farming, with a deep respect for nature and biodiversity.
Nestled among gently rolling hills and offering scenic views of the surrounding countryside, Pestoury Vineyard invites guests to discover the heart of Bordeaux's winemaking culture. The estate's goal is to create a warm and educational atmosphere where everyone can share their love for wine and the land that produces it.
Pestoury Vineyard cultivates vines with care and dedication, combining generations of winemaking tradition with a commitment to organic farming.
The estate covers around 40 hectares, where the diverse soils and mild climate create ideal conditions for producing expressive, well-balanced wines. Pestoury Vignoble grows classic Bordeaux grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot for its red wines, and Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris for its whites. Each grape variety is carefully matched to the specific soil and microclimate of its plot, ensuring that every wine reflects the unique character of its terroir.
The estate's range includes Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux Blanc Sec, Bordeaux Blanc Moelleux, and Bordeaux Rosé, as well as Crémant de Bordeaux sparkling wine and Grape Juice. Each bottle reflects the care and authenticity that define the Pestoury family’s approach to winemaking.
