Colors of Sassotondo: Wine Tasting at Sassotondo Organic Winery in Maremma

Discover Sassotondo, a small artisanal winery in the volcanic hills of southern Tuscany, with this wine experience, which will accompany you in understanding our production philosophy.

Together we will taste five of our wines, accompanied by savory biscuits from the renowned Flamigni pastry shop, specially selected to emphasize the flavor of the wine, as well as bread with our extra virgin olive oil. Sassotondo's story will be told in color: starting from the white Isolina, continuing with the rosé Lady Marmalade, and ending with three different shades of red, Sassotondo Rosso, Ombra Blu, and the multi-award-winning and iconic San Lorenzo, our ciliegiolo from an old vineyard, produced in a vineyard right in front of the breathtaking panorama of the village of Pitigliano. Flamigni savory biscuits in various flavors, served in pairing with our wines.

The Sassotondo winery has been certified organic since 1994, we are part of the VolcanicWines circuit, and members of FIVI - Vignaioli Indipendenti. When you visit us, be prepared for a trip into the countryside, immersed in the nature of rural Tuscia. The tour revolves around wine and the vineyard, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing. Depending on weather conditions, the tasting will take place under our patio or inside the air-conditioned tasting room.
