Comparative Organic Wine Tasting in Valpolicella at La Dama Vini

At La Dama Vini, located in Negrar just 20 minutes from Verona, this tasting is designed to show you how terroir shapes the wine in the glass.
Your experience begins with a walk through the organic vineyards that surround the estate, guided by one of La Dama's WSET qualified hosts. You will then visit the aging cellars before settling in the tasting room.
The tasting itself is structured as a series of direct comparisons. You will taste five organic wines:
First, you'll compare two single-vineyard Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC wines, the 'Ca' Besi' and the 'Colombarino'. This side-by-side tasting highlights how different microclimates and soils create distinct expressions from the same denomination.
Next, you will explore two versions of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG: the estate's classic bottling against its 'Austernia' cru selection.
To conclude, you will taste the Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, the region's traditional sweet wine made from dried grapes.
The wines are paired with a board of local products, including Sopressa Veneta, Coppa aged in Amarone, and both fresh and aged Monte Veronese cheese. The Recioto is served with Torta Sbrisolona and dark chocolate.
