Discover the authentic flavors of the Roero wine region in Piedmont with a wine tasting experience at La Roerina, a family-run winery immersed in the hills of northern Italy.
During this experience, you will taste 4 DOC and DOCG wines produced by La Roerina, served in the historic crutin of the small church dedicated to Maria Ausiliatrice. Each wine will be paired with traditional local dishes, carefully selected to enhance the flavors and character of the wines.
Throughout the tasting, members of the family — Giovanni, Giancarlo, Stefania, and Isella — will share the story of the winery and explain the philosophy behind their artisanal wines, which are deeply connected to the sandy soils of the Roero territory.
After the tasting, the experience continues with a short panoramic walk leading to the famous Big Bench (Sedia Gigante), where you can admire breathtaking views of the Roero hills and surrounding vineyards.
At La Roerina, each wine reflects the history of the land and the sacred place where the winery stands, offering visitors a genuine and memorable introduction to the wines and traditions of Roero.

This family gave us two splendid hours on Easter day, delighting us with excellent wine and providing us with detailed and never boring explanations thanks to the extreme professionalism and knowledge of Giancarlo. Each glass told a story.
A special thanks to his wife for the excellent delicacies prepared for us, in particular her hazelnut cake.
