Guests are welcomed at Il Roccolo di Monticelli, a family-run organic winery nestled in the hills of Lavagno, near Verona, and introduced to the surrounding territory. The experience begins with a guided walk through the winery and production areas, where visitors discover our low-intervention philosophy, spontaneous fermentations, and strong connection to the Mezzane valley and its landscape.
The visit continues with a guided tasting of 3 organic wines, carefully selected to represent the identity of the winery and the Lavagno terroir. The tasting is accompanied by artisanal bread and our own organic extra virgin olive oil, allowing guests to fully appreciate the harmony between wine, land, and agricultural tradition.
What makes this experience special is its intimate and authentic atmosphere: a small-scale winery where guests meet the producer, hear real stories from the cellar, and enjoy wines made in limited quantities with respect for nature. Set in the quiet countryside of Illasi, this tasting offers a genuine insight into artisanal winemaking and the character of the territory.
