Vineyard Tour & Organic Wine Tasting in the Cellar of Il Roccolo di Monticelli

Your experience begins when Silvia, the owner, welcomes you to her family’s vineyards in Monticelli. She restored the estate herself and will personally guide you on a walk among the vines and olive groves, sharing the story of the winery and its organic farming choices while you take in the panoramic views of the Mezzane Valley.

After the walk, you will take your car for the short, 8-minute drive to the winery in Illasi. Here, Silvia will show you the production area, explaining her low-intervention winemaking philosophy. The visit concludes in the cellar's dedicated hospitality area for a guided tasting of four organic wines.

The selection changes with the seasons but often includes still or bottle-refermented whites from Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave, a bottle-refermented Molinara rosé, and red blends from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella.

The tasting is accompanied by a seasonal selection of cheeses and cured meats, with a preference for products from Lessinia and the Verona area, such as Monte Veronese cheese and local soppressa, alongside artisanal bread and the estate’s own organic extra virgin olive oil. The exact products served vary according to seasonality and producer availability.
