From wine region to wine tourism destination

Winedering Travel Lab is our wine tourism consultancy. Since 2015 we have built and sold winery experiences for travellers, agencies and tour operators, and we put that experience to work for municipalities, tourism boards, consortia, wine roads and wineries.

Why work with us

We see real demand every day

We know what travellers book and what agencies and tour operators ask for, because we sell it. That is where our advice starts.

We take you all the way to the market

We do not stop at the plan: we have a sales channel to travellers and to the Italian and international travel trade.

An international network

Destinations, travel companies and partners in Italy and abroad that we can put you in touch with.

From strategy to bookings

Vision, product, people and market: one team from start to finish, and every project built around you.

On the ground

Site visits, one-to-one meetings and workshops with wineries and local businesses: decisions taken together, not plans left on a shelf.

Free to sell where you want

What we build stays yours. Selling through Winedering is an option, never an obligation.

Who we work with

For public bodies, consortia and wine roads, the first step is a destination diagnosis: an analysis of the current offer, meetings with wineries and local businesses, and a comparison with the demand we see, ending in a report and a proposed plan. For a winery, it is a check-up of its hospitality, with an action plan.

Municipalities

Give visitors a reason to come all year round, and get wineries, accommodation providers and other local businesses working together.

First step: a destination diagnosis.

Tourism boards and destination organisations

One wine tourism offer for the whole destination, not a list of wineries.

First step: a destination diagnosis.

Wine consortia

Your appellation, from the wine in the glass to a place to visit.

First step: a destination diagnosis.

Wine roads and business networks

From a list of members to a tourism offer that agencies and travellers book.

First step: a destination diagnosis.

Wineries and wine groups

More visits, well-defined experiences, and staff ready for international guests and the travel trade.

First step: a check-up.

How it works

1

A free 30-minute call

We get to know you and your goals, and tell you whether and how we can help.

2

An agreed plan

Goals, scope, timing, cost and indicators, written down and approved by you before we start.

3

Work on the ground, results measured

Analysis, one-to-one meetings and workshops, support in putting things into practice, and regular reports on what is changing.

What we do

Vision

A tourism identity and a long-term strategy: who you are, who you are for, what you offer and in which markets.

Product

Experiences, itineraries and packages with clear prices and terms, for travellers and for the travel trade.

People and networks

Practical training for the people who welcome guests and sell experiences, exchanges with other destinations, and fam trips for agencies and tour operators.

Market

Digital tools to promote and sell the offer, trade fairs and projects abroad, and indicators to measure the results.

How we work

  • A single point of contact for the whole project.
  • Each phase has its own quote, and nothing starts without your signature.
  • No exclusivity: we also work with neighbouring destinations.
  • What we build stays yours.
  • Selling through Winedering is an option, never an obligation, and is agreed separately from the consultancy.

Frequently asked questions

▸ How much does it cost?
For public bodies, consortia and wine roads, we prepare a quote after the free call. For wineries there are three options, starting with the check-up.
▸ How long does a project take?
A check-up takes a few weeks; a project for a destination, six to twelve months.
▸ We are a single winery. Where do we start?
With the check-up: an assessment of your hospitality against a checklist of 70 to 100 points, a visit or an online meeting, and an action plan.
▸ Do we have to sell only through Winedering?
No. What we build stays yours and you can sell it wherever you want. Winedering is one more channel, if you wish.
▸ Do you work with neighbouring or competing destinations?
Yes: we neither ask for nor grant exclusivity. The more destinations work together, the more value there is for everyone.
▸ Do you handle funding bids and grant applications?
No, we do not handle grant applications. We build the project in phases, so that it can fit the budget available.
▸ Who will we work with?
With Stefano Tulli, co-founder of Winedering, who has led wine tourism projects with consortia, wine roads and tourism boards since 2020, has taught wine tourism at the Trentino School of Management and has spoken at Vinitaly and the Tbilisi Wine Tourism Forum.
