Agricola Capone welcomes you for a special wine experience in the historic center of Gravina in Puglia, located in Alta Murgia National Park
The experience starts from Agricola Capone's underground caves in the historic and tourist center of the city at Via Matteotti, 4. From here, a free audio guide can take you to many other tourist sites in the city. After the visit, you can reach Agricola Capone's Masseria from the 18th-century aqueduct bridge. From this bridge begins the Via dei Piloni and presumed Appia Antica, which after 8 km will take you to the Agricola Capone vineyards on the Dolcecanto belvedere in Gravina in Puglia.
You can reach the Masseria with your vehicle, on foot, or by bicycle along the trekking route, all signposted and with a slight height difference of 100 meters, over a distance of only 8 km. You will arrive in a place full of typical farmhouses surrounded by dry stone walls (UNESCO heritage site) that embrace the vineyards. These are exclusive landscapes typical of the Alta Murgia National Park, now also a UNESCO Geo Park. In front of these landscapes, Agricola Capone also hosts the wonderful Big Bench 126 of the European BBCP network, which allows you to enjoy a beautiful natural landscape of the wonderful hills, differently colored according to the crops and seasons, crops that rotate year after year because the fallow technique is practiced here.
Back at the masseria you will have the opportunity to taste two wines,, you will taste local delicacies like Gravina's famous pallone cheese (P.A.T.), salsiccia di maiale tagliata a punta di coltello dell'alta murgia (P.A.T.) and Gravina's Marzipan biscuits.
