With this tour at Agricola Capone, you will immerse yourself in the thousand-year history of the city of wheat and wine, Gravina in Puglia " Grana dat et vina."

During 90 minutes you will learn about three PGI Puglia wines from the city of wheat and wine, you'll visit cellars and granaries in the basement, vineyards surrounded by dry stone walls, and the fabulous Big Bench 126 located on the Dolcecanto Belvedere.
Immerse yourself in the thousand-year history of the city of Gravina in Puglia, where wine has been produced since time immemorial. A post station on the Appia Antica road, Gravina in Puglia has one of the largest archaeological parks in Europe and is surrounded by fantastic ravines in which there are beautiful rupestrian churches. This town has been the birthplace of such illustrious figures as the mineralist Arcangelo Scacchi and Pope Benedict XIII.

You will taste three wines while visiting cellars and granaries in the basement of the ancient city, cellars excavated with great skill in the tufa of Gravina. You will also cross a historic center rich in monuments, historic buildings, churches, and convents and you will cross the famous aqueduct bridge of the 1700s (captured in the most evocative images of successful films such as No Time to Die starring James Bond (Daniel Craig).
 
From this bridge starts the Via dei Piloni, which after 8 km will take you to Agricola Capone's vineyards on the belvedere of Dolcecanto di Gravina in Puglia. You can reach the winery on your own vehicle or on foot on the all-marked trekking route with a slight elevation gain over a distance of 8 km of only 100 mt. You will arrive in a place full of villages and typical peasant houses surrounded by dry stone walls ( protected by UNESCO) that embrace the vineyards. 

To accompany the tasting of 3 local wines, you will taste local delicacies like Gravina's famous pallone cheese (P.A.T.), salsiccia di maiale tagliata a punta di coltello dell'alta murgia (P.A.T.) and Gravina's Marzipan biscuits.
