Add this tour to your Sorrento itinerary
We had a fantastic visit to Il Convento and were lucky enough to see every stage of the limoncello process - peeling, squeezing, distilling, bottling, and labeling. At the end of our tour, we could taste all the products they make, including marmalades - lemon and orange, other non-lemon liquors, and a regional specialty - baba, a small sponge cake soaked in limoncello. This is a family-run business, and we got to explore it with a member of the 3rd generation - Matteo. I highly recommend visiting.

Fantastic experience
This estate where the wines of Magna Graecia are produced is located along state road 106, just a little north of Bianco, with the winery on the same site.
We were welcomed by Flavio who showed us the vineyards, the greenhouses for drying the grapes, the cellar where he explained the production process and techniques, and the historic family oil mill, where he has interesting projects to enhance this historic place.
For the tasting, we chose the one that included a tasting of two wines: Vino Greco di Bianco DOC and Mantonico IGT Locride Passito, accompanied by hard and soft cheeses, typical homemade cookies and honey, all local products of a unique goodness, with a special mention for the cookies homemade by Flavio's mom.
We will definitely come back to introduce our friends to this beautiful reality.
