Leonardo and Giorgio, a wonderful pair of hosts, who combine wisdom and experience with freshness and kindness, all seasoned with an extraordinary passion, a visceral love for the land, for the grapes, for the wine.
Superb products, from the oil to the wines, sparkling rosé, still rosé and a fantastic Valpolicella Superiore.
Delicious food, served with care, calm and kindness.
What to say then of the care and love for children. A table dedicated to them for drawing, a spacious garden to make them feel at home, and even three small glasses that also allow them to join in the tasting of juices and drinks dedicated to them.
Completing it all is a breathtaking view of the Valpolicella hills and very sweet background music throughout all the indoor and outdoor spaces.

A pleasant surprise
I gave my partner a sensory tasting for his birthday. Among the many, this winery struck me because of the description it had in its presentation and especially for the word "sensory" which, paired with wine, intrigued me.

Historic winery
We booked a tasting at the Romana Carlo winery and we were impressed by the dedication of the owners who also told us a bit of history about the Langhe and Dogliani.

A wonderful experience
We had the pleasure and the good fortune of being able to do a tasting with a visit to the vineyard and the peach orchard, together with Sofia.
She immediately welcomed us and put us at ease, starting by telling us about the territory, and then taking us into the vineyard, discovering the roots and the history of their family. Having the chance to get to know businesses so lively and active in the local area, which collaborate with other local businesses, is surely wonderful.

An Unforgettable Wine Tasting Experience at Il Dosso
We, a group of 5, had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting at Il Dosso on Friday, July 5th, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. We had booked a 6 wine tasting of Franciacorta wines, and each one was a masterpiece in its own right.
We tastes 3 sparkling wines and 3 red wines, and they were all perfectly complemented by delicious cheese platters that elevated the tasting to another level.
The tour of the winery was both informative and engaging, thanks to our passionate and pedagogical guide. Matteo’s enthusiasm for the winemaking process was simply infectious, as he expertly conveyed the complex process in a way that was easy to understand and appreciate.
Overall, we were very pleased with our visit to Il Dosso. The combination of exceptional wines, delightful food, and an educational tour made for a truly memorable day. We would not hesitate to come back and would highly recommend this experience to everyone else. If you're looking for an outstanding wine tasting experience, Il Dosso should be at the top of your list!
