The experience of the cellar tour is very pleasant. It's a very beautiful old cellar, which is really worth the detour. It's a shame, however, that everything is only in German: there is no means of translation for foreign visitors, which makes the tour difficult to follow for non-German speakers.

My wife and I received this experience as a gift. We were welcomed like family members, accompanied to historic, technical and magical places for the creation of wines for generations and generations. For every question there was an answer, for every doubt good advice, and the wine definitely met the expectations described during the tour.

We visited Cantine Pietreionne, in Ponte, and we came back truly enthusiastic. The visit began among the rows of vines, where they told us with great expertise and passion about the work that accompanies each phase of cultivation: a technical but always clear journey, which made us appreciate the value of the Sannio territory even more. In the cellar, they guided us to discover the history, the production choices, and the identity of their wines, with explanations rich in detail and always tied to the territory. The final tasting was pleasant and well-structured: wines that tell the story of the land they come from, accompanied by excellent cured meats, cheeses, and bruschetta that enhanced their flavors. Experiences like this, created by knowledgeable and passionate young people, are precious because they help Sannio to grow and become known for what it deserves. An authentic experience, which we recommend to anyone who wants to truly discover the world of wine starting from the vineyard.
