A Perfect Wine Tasting Experience
I recently attended a wine tasting here and it was absolutely perfect. The selection of wines was both delicious and diverse, catering to different tastes. The host provided clear and engaging explanations, adding interesting background stories and tasting tips without being too technical. The short tour of the venue was a nice touch, offering a glimpse into the winemaking process. The location itself is stunning, with a beautiful view that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for wine lovers of all levels!

Perfect!
I chose the gourmet tasting experience and everything was perfect!
The staff is attentive, kind, and helpful.
The place is gorgeous and, considering the abundant lunch and the tasting of 4 wines (the staff is also willing to refill the wine glasses upon request), I also think the quality/price ratio is excellent!
Overall, an experience that I would definitely recommend.

Franciacorta in the Glass: A Journey Through Bubbles and Territory
We had an authentic and fulfilling experience at Cantina Il Dosso, in the heart of Franciacorta. A place where the passion for wine is palpable and where every glass tells a story.
Welcome and Atmosphere
The welcome from Luca, the producer, was warm and genuine. Right from the start, we felt more like guests than customers, welcomed into a simple yet well-kept environment, where passion can be felt in every corner.
The Tasting
The offering includes the option to choose 4 personalized wines, from a selection of 8 Franciacortas and 10 red wines produced on-site. Following the winery's advice, we opted for 2 Franciacortas and 2 reds:
The Satèn impressed us with its elegance and creaminess, with a fine and persistent bubble.
The Franciacorta Rosé was lively and fruity, with a beautiful structure.
Among the reds, the barrel-aged Calvario was a real discovery: intense, round, with a long finish.
The amphora-aged red added an original and surprising note to the tasting.
Everything was accompanied by an excellent selection of cured meats, local cheeses, and taralli, sourced from small artisanal producers of the area. Genuine products, perfectly paired with the wines and truly delicious. It is possible to request an extra platter, which we recommend if you are a couple and want to enjoy the tasting without rushing.
The Tour and Production Philosophy
After the tasting, Luca guided us on a tour of the winery, telling us about his production philosophy, which is unconventional and deeply connected to nature. It's not just about technique, but about vision: every choice, from fermentation to vinification, is designed to best express the territory and its potential. Not everyone is so transparent and passionate in sharing their craft.
Accessibility and Services
The facility is easily accessible, with parking and both indoor and outdoor spaces. A gluten-free option is also available upon request, a thoughtful detail that shows attention to everyone's needs.
Conclusion
We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover Franciacorta off the beaten path. Cantina Il Dosso is a small family-run reality that manages to surprise with high-quality wines, authenticity, and a sincere welcome. A special moment to be experienced slowly, letting yourself be guided by someone who loves wine and creates it with their heart.

Our favorite activity in Sorrento
Matteo was very knowledgeable about the craft of limoncello making at every step of the production process. The gardens that are maintained by his dad are beautiful, and the variety of what they grow is amazing. The tour was very interesting and Matteo was patient and kind to answer all of our many questions. The tastings of the limoncello and other liquors was the cherry on top at the end. Best limoncello in the region, we definitely had to take some home with us!

Extraordinary experience with a personal touch!
Francesco, Giulia and the other family members we met were very friendly and competent and committed to the wine making family business.
We had a small tour around the vineyard and afterwards a wine tasting overlooking the beautiful surroundings. The wine was excellent as so was the food complementing the tasting.
We left with a big smile and are now looking forward to the home delivery of the wine we ordered. Thank you!
