We arrived at 9:30 as directed by our reservation via Winedering- which is wrong- their brunch tasting does not start until noon. However, the hosts/owner graciously took us on a tour of his vineyard property, meticulously explained the region and wine making, then took us into Naro for a Quick look around the town/castle (their Baroque tour). When we arrived back to the house, our brunch experience awaited. We were led to the upstairs patio to a lovely set table. The food was absolutely wonderful, and the wine!!! The wine is absolutely divine. Great descriptions for our tastings. We even ordered a case to be shipped home. Such a wonderful couple who run the winery, they really made our first day in Sicily a special memory. Thank you!

Excellent experience
We were able to tour the winemaking area with the owner/winemaker while he explained the area’s vineyard operations. We sat on a lovely patio for our tastings, paired with different bruschettas perfectly. It’s obvious Fausta Mansio is a labor of love, each wine thoughtfully crafted. We ordered a case to be shipped! Happy to have had this experience!

All very nice
We did the tour with lunch. The tour, although brief, shows the production and barrel aging of the various wines and sparkling wines, as well as an excellent panorama.
The lunch was very good, although it was almost too crowded and it felt like being in a city center restaurant.
Good wines, although average, and they don't justify the prices.

Small winery, great wines
We tasted some excellent wines, preferring the reds, which we then purchased.
The explanations were really interesting, although perhaps I would have preferred more interaction with the guests, for example asking what aromas and what flavors we were able to perceive.
The aperitivo food was exquisite and abundant.
After the tasting we took a walk on our own through the vineyards from which you can see all of Assisi.

A good first time!
It was the first time I had an experience like this, which I must say was absolutely positive.
Both the wines and the food were to my liking. It was very nice to learn something about the wine production processes and how to taste it. The sommelier is able to take you by the hand and let you taste a drop of his world, always ready to answer your every curiosity.
